Camp CORE: Campers will start the first part of camp doing fun fitness drills. They will learn proper running form, work on pacing, do age appropriate strength and agility training, and build fitness skills. After a snack/free play break, the 2nd half of camp will focus on fun, high movement, high energy games. Game may include dodgeball, capture the flag, tail tag, Up/Down tag, defend the pin, hide and seek tag, and many more!
CORE Kids Ride:
The afternoon camp is a recreational bike ride around CB and CB South! We recommend a youth mountain bike but we will not be doing traditional mountain biking. Campers will learn about rules of the road and trail, how to take care of their bikes, helmet checks, and skills to help them be better bikers. We will leave Rainbow or Red Mountain Park and will ride around on roads, trails, and rec paths. Students should be able to independently ride a bike without training wheels in order to be in the biking portion of camp.
